- Funeral parlour name and contact details
- Admin names, contact numbers, and emails
b) Member & Claim Data (Entered by Funeral Parlours)
- Member full names, ID numbers, plan details
- Claim information submitted by the funeral parlour
c) System Usage Data
- Login history and activity logs
- Device information and browser type
2. How We Use the Information
We use your data to:
- Manage funeral parlour accounts and subscriptions
- Send monthly invoices and payment reminders
- Track paid vs. unpaid parlours
- Receive and review submitted claims
- Provide admin access to update their member lists
- Improve security and system performance
We do not sell or share your information with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
3. Data Storage and Protection
Your data is:
- Stored on secure, encrypted servers
- Accessible only to verified Emzansi administrators
- Backed up regularly to prevent data loss
We follow best practices in compliance with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act) in South Africa.
4. User Control & Access
You may:
- View and update your business and member details
- Contact support to correct inaccurate data
- Request permanent data deletion (via our official Data Deletion Form)
*Note: You cannot delete your account or data directly from the app. All deletion requests must be submitted through a digital request form with identity confirmation.*
5. Data Retention
We retain your information:
- As long as your subscription is active
- For legal and audit purposes after cancellation
- Until you request permanent deletion (upon verification)
6. Cookies and Tracking
We may use cookies or session tracking to:
- Keep you logged in securely
- Monitor performance and usage for app improvements
No third-party advertising or analytics tools are used without consent.
7. Third-Party Access
We do not allow third-party access to your data unless:
- You authorize it
