Data Deletion Policy – Emzansi App


Effective Date: 15 April 2025

1. Purpose
This policy outlines the process for users to request the deletion of their personal and business data from the Emzansi App. For legal, financial, and administrative reasons, users cannot delete their own account or data directly from the app. A formal request is required.

2. Who Can Request Deletion
Only registered owners or administrators of a Funeral Parlour account may request the deletion of their data.

3. How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion, you must:
1. Fill and submit the form in this page at the bottom.
 Complete and submit the digital confirmation form, which includes:
- Full name of the requester
- Contact Number (Funeral Parlour)
- Email Address
- Reason for Deletion (Including Date)

*Important: This request will be kept as proof of consent.*

4. Verification Process
Once the form is submitted:
- Emzansi Group will verify the request within 5–7 business days.
- If the requester is not verified, the deletion will be denied, and further identification may be required.

5. What Happens After Deletion
Once approved:
- All personal and funeral parlour data will be permanently deleted from our system within 7 working days.
- Deleted data cannot be recovered.
- A confirmation email or message will be sent once the process is complete.

6. Exceptions
We may retain certain records to:
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce our terms

Only minimal, legally required data will be kept if necessary.
